Carlos is a real professional and knows what he is doing. He will actually take the time to see how your hair grows and listen to what you are looking for before carefully cutting your hair. I appreciated the attention to detail, and the fact that he explained everything to me before he did it. He shared some of his knowledge about hair, and also gave tips on how to style and maintain my hair going forward. Definitely happy with my cut today, and I will be returning for future cuts.
Carlos was fantastic! He really takes his time to get your haircut perfect. He spent extra time with me today showing me different products to use on my hair, how to apply them and showing me other techniques. I highly recommend him.
I randomly found this shop while visiting the area, drawn in by its great reviews—and they were spot on. Carlos is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and personable. Once in the chair, I received the best consultation and advice I’ve ever had about my hair. I gave him full creative freedom, and he did not disappoint. He also provided a masterclass on the right products for my hair type and how to use them. From now on, I’ll be planning my haircuts around trips to the area. Now, I just need to find Nashville’s version of Carlos. Cannot recommend him enough—5 stars (and I never leave reviews).

I did not expect to get such a superior fade & cut as I did at Mentrendz. To say it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. The shop was clean, I was given 30 minutes of detailed attention, and had a great conversation with the owner. I highly recommend that if you are in the Fort Lauderdale area or just down to visit, check this place out. Can't say enough!
